Currently, ETC has five faculty members who are working on their doctoral studies. Out of the five, God has helped two of them to successfully accomplish their doctoral studies in this month.

Our Academic Dean Alemseged Ketema who was doing his Doctor of Education degree at South Eastern Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina has successfully finished his doctoral studies by the grace of God. We praise God for His faithfulness and rejoice with him and his family.
We also want to thank the Lord for helping our second faculty member, Anwar Mehammed, who has been doing his PhD studies in Melbourne School of Theology in Islamic studies. God has faithfully helped him to finish what he has started successfully.

It is known that ETC gives a priority to address the felt needs of the Ethiopian Church and tailors its training accordingly. Currently, ETC is working on preliminary arrangements to start an MA course in Christian-Muslim Relations.
This strategic decision is based on responding to the three felt needs in the Ethiopian Church. In the past two three decades many of our Muslim brothers and sisters have come to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and they will need to be ministered to understanding their context. The second reason is to address the political and theological challenges the Ethiopian church is facing from Islam and the third is to equip kingdom workers who are working in Islamic context.
Therefore, we need your prayers and support to make this program what God wants it to be. Some of the needs ETC foresees are scholarship for students who will enroll in Christian-Muslim Relations. Many of the believers who have come from Muslim backgrounds are ostracized from both their families and their communities and many do not even have enough to satisfy their basic needs let alone go to school.
We will also need to secure enough funds for salary for faculty assigned on this training and accommodations for faculty who will be coming to serve in this ministry from different parts of the world.
We want to thank you all our dear friends and partners for your faithfulness in partnering for the work of the kingdom and we urge you to continue to minister along with us as you have always done faithfully.
