ETC is established to equip more ministers in undergraduate and graduate programs to meet the growing needs of the churches for trained leadership. The current ETC facility is not sufficient to absorb the demands for more and diversified training that could cater to the contemporary needs of the Ethiopian church. Therefore, ETC started its new building expansion project in February 2016. By trusting God and His people, we started the earth excavation work right after the groundbreaking ceremony. By God’s grace we have come a long way with generous support of different individuals, churches and foundations within and outside of Ethiopia.

At present, the structural work of the two basement floors and the tower (13 floors) at the back is nearly completed. The picture shows the progress of the project. What is left is putting the roof structure on top. About 45% of the whole project is completed.
We were unable to work on the structure of the front three floors of the building because once that is done that would have blocked the access to the back side of the building. Since the structural work of the back side of the building is now completed we can start working on the front part.
Our target for 2020 is to complete the front part of the building and make it ready for graduate program classrooms and income generating so that it would help us to continue to finish the remaining parts of the building with the funds we generate. In order to execute the work we need $ 1.3 Million.
We believe that having these facilities would enable us to serve in a better way our faculty members and our students as well as the churches of Ethiopia and beyond.
We would be grateful if you consider supporting us through prayer and financially by realizing that you are investing in God’s kingdom as we are striving to equip men and women by the Word of God for the ministry that God has called each one of us.
Finally, we would like to thank you and bless you on behalf of the Evangelical Theological College, staff and faculty and mostly on behalf of the Ethiopian Evangelical Churches whose ministers will be trained and enabled to rightly serve God and His people in their respective settings.
Partnership
Dear Friends and Partners of ETC, we are sharing these stories with you so you can rejoice with us in the great work that the Lord is doing here at ETC. We also ask you to continue partnership with us so we can train more knowledgeable, humble and articulate pastors to help the Church grow into maturity and completeness in Christ (Col. 1:28-;2;2). Your partnership and prayers have a significant place in the work of ETC and in the Kingdom of God.
