Preparing Servants for the Church in Ethiopia and Beyond

You Can Help

The Lord has brought churches, supporting organizations and individuals who are partners with ETC in preparing servant leaders for the church of Ethiopia and beyond.

Through prayer

  • Pray that God would use ETC students and graduates to strengthen existing churches and plant new churches.
  • Pray that God would provide enough faculty to teach the many students who want to equip themselves for ministry. Well-trained Ethiopian teachers are especially needed.
  • Pray that ETC students and staff would grow in Christ-likeness, in their under-standing of God’s Word, and in their ability to minister effectively.

Through giving

  • Special Donation for ETC’s Building Expansion Project:ETC has started construction of it Building Expansion Project on the land God has provided for us.  Developing the new campus will enable us:
    1. To equip more ministers in undergraduate and graduate programs to meet the growing needs of the churches for trained leadership.
    2. The guest house/dormitory facilities and the high quality classrooms, seminar rooms and lecture halls will enable us to run modular masters level programs for students coming from different parts of the country and outside of Ethiopia and to host international guest faculty.
    3. The new facility will enable us to organize and host, local, national, and international conferences that will expand our ministry horizon.
    4. By renting out our facilities when they are not in use will help us to generate funds that will greatly enhance the financial capacity of ETC and improve our ministry.
    5. The income generated from the building will enable us to attract and maintain a good quality of faculty and staff because we will be able to pay reasonable salaries.

If you are interested in supporting this exciting new development at ETC please use the different giving options listed at the bottom of this page. If you would like to know more about the work of ETC in Ethiopia, please send us mail to etcdevelop@gmail.com.

  • Staff Development: ETC is seeking assistance so that its Ethiopian faculty will be better equipped to train Ethiopia’s present and future church leaders.
  • Gifts to ETC Library: Gifts to ETC’s library go to purchasing books which expose students, faculty and alumni to fresh, challenging ideas from around the world. US $ 40 will buy a key book and send it to Ethiopia.
  • Scholarships: Ethiopia’s economic challenges make it difficult for students to pay all of their expenses. The average pastor who wishes to receive training for ministry makes US $ 100-150 a month. Very little is left over for ministry training after meeting family expenses. A gift of US $ 35 pays for one student to take one course at ETC. A gift of US $ 500 provides full tuition and book expenses for a full-time student for one year and a gift of US $ 1,760 provides full tuition and living expenses for a full time student for one year.
  • Course Materials: A gift of only US $ 15 provides one student with notes, readers, and textbooks subsidy for one course.
